It’s that time of year when summer vacation is starting to wind down. Much to the dismay of children, and the relief of parents everywhere, the start of school is just around the corner. That means trips to the store for new school clothes, and maybe a new backpack. You will also be filling up your shopping cart with notebooks, pens, pencils, folders, crayons, glue and plenty of other things your child will need for a successful start to the school year.
In the midst of all of that shopping, the back-to-school season is a great time for your child’s dental cleaning and checkup. It’s a good idea to visit your dentist at least twice a year. So the end, and start of the school year are convenient times to get your child in to see our dentist, Dr. Manshadi, and Dustin at Safari Dental in Bryan, Texas.
A visit to our office is a great way to make sure that your child starts the school year with a clean smile. We can also look for any potential problems with your child’s teeth and mouth, and address them before they become big problems later during the school year. In addition to making sure that your child’s smile is healthy and that their teeth are clean, you can talk with Dr. Manshadi about a mouthguard if your child is playing sports. A back-to-school dental visit will give Dr. Manshadi the chance to make suggestions about changes to your child’s oral health care routine, or to suggest fluoride treatments or dental sealants for their molars.
If it is time for your child’s back to school checkup, or for that matter, if it is time for your checkup and cleaning, contact our office at (979) 985-3093. We’be happy to schedule an appointment for every member of your family.
