Mirna, Office Manager
Mirna is originally from Bryan, TX. She attended Texas A&M University, where she graduated Cum Laude (with a GPA of 3.5 or higher). Today, she has been a member of our team for five years so far. Her favorite thing about this job is being able to work with such a wonderful team!
Mirna’s family consists of her two beautiful sisters, her pretty cool seven year old brother, and her amazing mom. In her spare time, she has a strong passion for weight training.
Something interesting about Mirna: In high school, she was nominated as “Most Spirited” out of a class of 400!
Maria, General Coordinator
Maria, who was born and raised in Bryan, Tx joined our team in 2019. What she loves most about Safari Dental are all the wonderful patients. As the General Coordinator, Maria handles checkouts and scheduling, and it’s a good thing because she’s never met a stranger!
Dulce, Administrative Lead
Dulce graduated from Texas A&M University in 2016, and she’s proud to now be part of a team that helps patients have a positive experience at the dentist. Originally from Navasota, she has a big family that is made up of one supportive husband, two very loving and hardworking parents, three brothers, and three sisters. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, hanging out with friends, and watching movies.
Something interesting about Dulce: She has a passion for cooking, especially when it comes to Mexican food!
Elida, Scheduling Coordinator
Elida, mom to two beautiful children, joined our team in 2019. Though she had never imagined herself working in the dental field, now, she can’t imagine herself anywhere else. The most rewarding part for her is to see worried patients come out of the exam room with a smiling face. What she loves most is working with an empowering team that is always willing to help each other achieve the ultimate goal. In her spare time, Elida loves to read and write.
Randi, Insurance Coordinator
Randi studied at Blinn College, eventually earning her CDA (Child Development Associate credential) and Associates degree in Health Information Technology. She is certified in CPR for infants and adults, HIPAA, Title II with the State of Texas & Department of Health & Human Services, and Medicare Parts C and D. Today, she’s been working in the dental field for three years and loves spending time with her patients, her coworkers, and the doctors. It’s nice to come to work in a place with such a positive feeling!
Randi is from Franklin, TX. She has a son named Brody, a stepdaughter named Natalie, and a husband-to-be named Lance. Outside of the office, she loves spending time with her family.
Something interesting about Randi: She has ridiculously “good” dance moves – so “good” that her kids laugh at her. She loves being happy and positive!
Maira, Pediatric Scheduling Coordinator
Maira has been with us for a year and is currently attending Texas A&M for a Bachelor’s in Dentistry. She finds the most rewarding part of her job is seeing the kids smile light up after a visit. If she could give one piece of advice it would be… FLOSS! When she’s not at work or in class she enjoys playing sports, especially soccer!
Denise, Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator
Denise is from Bryan and has been working in dental offices for five years and counting. She is certified in coronal polishing, pit and fissure sealants, and nitrous oxide monitoring. She loves working with such great patients!
Denise has two sons who love their Momma very much. You can find her spending time with her family whenever she’s not busy at the office.
Something interesting about Denise: She loves makeup!
Alma, Orthodontic Scheduling Coordinator
Alma joined the Safari team in 2019 as a Certified Medical Assistant. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing patients walk out happy after we’ve provided services. Alma is the proud mother to 3 boys and when she isn’t working, she most enjoys spending time with them and playing softball.
Danica, Clinical Director of Orthodontics/Registered Dental Assistant
Danica calls Lexington her home and has been working in dentistry for 19 years so far, having joined My Safari Dental four years ago. She attended Texas State Technical College and has undergone a dental assisting program. She loves working in such a fun and friendly environment, as well as making people happy through her efforts.
Danica is married and has two beautiful daughters. Outside of the office, she loves spending time with her family and friends, doing anything outdoors, and crafting.
Something interesting about Danica: She always strives to provide the highest level of care possible for each patient!
Diana, Ortho Lead, Registered Dental Assistant
Diana joined our practice over a year ago, but she has an amazing 28 years of experience in this field overall! She attended Blinn College and is certified in nitrous oxide, pit and fissure sealants, coronal polishing, and CPR. She enjoys meeting patients through her job, getting to talk with them, and helping them regarding their dental needs.
Diana is from Bryan, and her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, going to different places, trying new restaurants, going to the beach, and playing volleyball.
Something interesting about Diana: She has a very outgoing personality and a big heart! She’ll do anything to help anyone.
Maria, Registered Dental Assistant
Maria is originally from Torreón, Coah in Mexico, and she studied dentistry at the University Autonomous of Coahuila. She is certified in coronal polishing, pit and fissure sealants, CPR, and nitrous oxide monitoring. Today, she has been working in this field for over 20 years! The best thing about her job is helping people achieve better smiles, interacting with different ethnicities, and seeing kids so happy after treatment.
Maria is the mother of two boys named Noe and Saul. Her hobbies outside of work include watching movies, dancing, and traveling.
Jael, Lead Registered Dental Assistant
Jael knew she wanted to work as a dental professional since she was a little girl. One day after visiting a dental clinic for a cleaning, it instantly hit her that being a registered dental assistant was her dream job! Her favorite success story was helping an adult patient who had no teeth. Being able to fit her with implants so she could eat again and restore her beautiful smile makes her job so worth it.
Jael says, “Our mission as a dental team is to work together as a unit to provide the best dental care available for all ages, caring for them as we would family members. We treat our patients with patience and kindness.” In her free time, you can catch her at the gym or out dancing!
Sonia, Registered Dental Assistant
Sonia has been with our practice for a year now, and she really enjoys helping patients feel confident whenever they’re in the treatment chair. She attended Vista College and is certified in CPR.
Sonia is from originally from Caldwell, TX. She has a very loving family and enjoys dancing and putting on makeup in her spare time.
Fredderica, Registered Dental Assistant
Fredderica underwent her dental training at Vista College in College Station, and she is certified in CPR and nitrous oxide. She loves spending time with her coworkers every day.
Fredderica is from Bryan, and she has a three year old daughter. Outside of the office, she enjoys eating good food and spending time with her family.
Something interesting about Fredderica: She loves watching nail art tutorials on YouTube!
Francia (Frankie), Registered Dental Assistant
Frankie hails from Bryan, and she earned her education at Blinn College and Vista College. Today, she’s certified in X-rays, nitrous oxide monitoring, and pit and fissure sealants. She loves working with kids through her job.
Frankie has a three year old son, as well as a very outgoing and really funny family. She plays soccer and dances in her free time.
Something interesting about Frankie: She can dilate her pupils without light!
Elvia, Registered Dental Assistant
Elvia has first-hand knowledge of what feeling good about your smile can do for your confidence. That is actually the reason she got into the dental field. She loves helping people because she remembers being insecure before getting her own braces. Now that her braces are off, she loves her smile and finds it most rewarding to help others achieve that! When she’s not at the office you can find Elvia spending time with family and friends enjoying cookouts and going out.
April, Registered Dental Assistant
April’s best piece of advice is “Smile, it’s contagious!” She started with us in 2019 after a career change, and finds the most rewarding thing to be knowing that she helped make a difference in improving someone's smile! For fun, April likes to go to the movies, dance, cook/ bake, and spend time with her family.
Jailene, Registered Dental Assistant
Jailene chose the dental field thanks to Denise, one of our RDA’s here at Safari Dental! She has been caring for our patients since 2018 and thinks the most rewarding thing about her job is having patients leave happy! Jailene enjoys going out with her friends and spending quality time with family.
Ana, Registered Dental Assistant
Ana had always loved working with kids and loves that Safari Dental has given her the opportunity to give kids a safe yet fun dental experience every day! She is always learning better ways to care for her patients and most enjoys the chance to make patients feel calm when coming to see the dentist. When she’s not at the office Ana loves to spend time with her family and watch movies on Netflix!
Chloe, Registered Dental Assistant
Chloe was born and raised in Louisiana, but became a proud Texan 6 years ago! She started her career as a dental assistant on a whim and quickly fell in love. Dentistry is now her passion and has become a very rewarding career. Safari Dental is like a family, which is why she loves working here! Chloe enjoys being outdoors with her family, if it involves the sun...she’s in!
Marla, Registered Dental Hygienist
Marla has been working in dentistry for an impressive 28 years so far, first joining our team five years ago. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Education in 1995 from Texas A&M University before pursuing her dental hygiene degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, graduating in 1997. Additionally, she’s studied at the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, learning a lot about neuromuscular dentistry and orthodontics. She is certified in CPR and nitrous oxide. She enjoys being able to improve smiles with education through her work!
Marla is from Bryan, TX, and she’s of Italian descent. Her family is very loud, loving, and passionate. When she has free time outside of the office, she enjoys hunting in South and West Texas, fishing at the coast, water skiing, snow skiing, dancing, singing, and designing home décor.
Something interesting about Marla: She is a “fur baby mom” with one Bombay cat named Spooky and one Shi Tzu named Lexi! Also, her favorite movies are “Gone with the Wind” and “Steel Magnolias” because she is truly a Southern gal.
Allison, Registered Dental Hygienist
Allison first joined My Safari Dental three years ago, and she’s worked in dentistry for four years overall. After attending San Jacinto Community College, she studied dentistry at Pima Medical Institute and is certified in CPR, dental sealants, and coronal polishing. She loves helping kids have healthy smiles!
Allison hails from Brenham, and she is married with one child and three fur babies. Her hobbies include being a workout fanatic, spending time at the gym, and hanging out with her family.
